Submissions are now open for the Emperor Maximilian Prize 2017, the European prize for regional and local politics.

If there is a person or an institution that you believe deserves to win the prize, you can submit their nomination by 20 February 2017. The same deadline applies to nominations for the international jury for the selection of the winner.
This year, the prize will go to a personality or an institution working in the field of European regional politics.
Last year, the winner of the prize was Committee of the Regions Vice-President, President of the Chamber of Local Authorities of the Congress of the Council of Europe, SALAR Vice-President and CEMR Executive President Anders Knape.
