The objective of this International Meeting is to update and expand the international debate on the contents and strategies of the right to the city. It aims to give new impulse to the process on both a domestic and an international level, advocating for the recognition and realization of such right at different scales. Moreover, it seeks the creation of a platform for the right of the city as a means to influence the International Urban Agenda which is to be adopted in the Habitat III Conference (2016).
