UN-Habitat will jointly organize with the Ministry of Development of Spain and the Barcelona City Council, the Global Expert Meeting: “Towards Effective National Urban Policies: Lessons from Current Practice”. The goal of this meeting is to share recent experiences and approaches on National Urban Policies, and develop a “roadmap” for National Urban Policy implementation strategy. It will also engage with urban stakeholders to promote National Urban Policies as a key strategy for national socio-economic development and sustainable urbanization for less urbanized countries. More information
