URBAN intergroup and CEMR | Fostering multilevel dialogue for SDG implementation
The European Parliament URBAN intergroup and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) are organising a joint event on Fostering multilevel dialogue for SDG implementation.
24 October, European Parliament, 10.30 to 12.30 (Brussels time).
As 2023 marks the halfway point in reaching the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set up by the United Nations in the Agenda 2030, it is crucial to enhance synergies between stakeholders involved in the implementation of SDGs. Dialogue between stakeholders from different horizons is key to ensure a proper implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
At this occasion, representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament and the French Ministry of Ecological transition and Territorial cohesion will present the work they are conducting to support the implementation of SDGs. The discussion will then be fed by experiences of successful projects and initiatives, carried out by URBACT and the Joint Research Centre, amongst other stakeholders.
