The “RELAIS de la coop dec’” connects committed territories
Peace, dialogue, solidarity, sharing, exchange, regional excellence, the planet, human rights… These were the main values promoted during the symbolic march organised over three months by our partner Cités Unies France (CUF) to mark its 50th anniversary.
From Suippes in the Marne department to the Senate in Paris, via Martinique, Savoie and Poitiers in the Vienne department, more than twenty French local authorities organised events to highlight the values that drive their “open to the world” cooperation initiatives.
Thanks to this initiative, decentralised cooperation has gained visibility, and each local authority has been able to proudly showcase its international actions. This pride is even more important to express given the calls for isolationism.
All the local authorities organising this “RELAIS” were rewarded on 4 July during the “Rencontres” of the international action of local and regional authorities (RAICT) in Paris.
