Fill in our survey on the Global Goals!
Following the successful first edition last year of the publication “Sustainable Development Goals, How Europe’s towns and regions are taking the lead”, PLATFORMA & CEMR are launching together with UCLG a second survey on the localisation of the SDGs.
This procedure is planned annually in order to assess the evolution of the answers. The European version of the UCLG survey addresses in particular the practical commitment to localise the SDGs, as well as the impact on partnerships and decentralised cooperation.
You might receive the survey directly from the UCLG as well: please complete the survey only once – preferably by April 15, 2019. You can download the survey, or complete it online:
- English: download or take the survey online;
- Español: descargar pulsando aquí, o completar en línea a través de este enlace;
- Français : télécharger l’enquête ou la compléter en ligne.
If you download the questionnaire, please send it to gold@uclg.org and copy Mrs Nathalie Noupadja (nathalie.noupadja@ccre-cemr.org).
The results will be processed and analysed to nourish at least three publications: PLATFORMA- CEMR publication (1) as well as the UCLG Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments report to the High-Level Political Forum of the United Nations (2). The data will also serve to nourish the 5th UCLG Report of the Global Observatory on Local Democracy and Decentralisation (GOLD V) (3).
Therefore, in order to ensure continuity in time and geographical scope, we particularly stress the importance for all our members to answer this annual survey, in addition to the 7 European countries reporting to the High-Level Political Forum this year i.e. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Serbia, and the United Kingdom.
The survey, and first results if already available, will be presented at the event “Regions and Cities Making the SDGs Happen”, that we are jointly organising with the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and EUROCITIES on 11 April in Brussels. The objective is to highlight the crucial role of local and regional authorities in implementing the SDGs.
For additional information about the survey, you are invited to contact Nathalie Noupadja, Head of Research and Studies (nathalie.noupadja@ccre-cemr.org) in the CEMR secretariat.
