#LocalSolidarityDays are back in town!
The European Days of Local Solidarity (EDLS) – the pan-European campaign to promote international cooperation between cities and regions across the world – are back in town!
The 2022 EDLS edition will take place from 15 to 30 November in municipalities and regions all across Europe. This annual campaign serves as an opportunity for local and regional elected officials to raise citizens’ awareness about their international cooperation actions as well as to involve them in sustainable development cooperation through public events, thematic conferences, workshops, art exhibitions, and exchanges.
If you want to participate and help mobilising participants you can follow these steps:
- Mark the dates in your calendar and discover the EDLS guidelines (available in 9 languages);
- Register your EDLS activities online and be part of the pan-European campaign;
- Download the EDLS Communication toolkit (available in 11 languages), label your activities as EDLS and get promoted on the EDLS website and social media with the hashtag #LocalSolidarityDays;
- Ask your mayor or local/regional elected official to sign the EDLS Charter online, record a video and promote his/her city’s or region’s commitment with global solidarity.
