From September 18 to 25, VVSG is organising its Sustainable Municipality Week. Local governments highlight their sustainability heroes and gather citizens’ wishes for a sustainable 2030.

This year’s theme is: “We create a sustainable world TOGETHER.” Communications and campaign materials will emphasize the importance of local and international partnerships for sustainable development (SDG 17).

Well-known Flemish cartoonist Herr Seele is this year’s campaign ambassador. He will visit municipalities to turn citizens’ sustainable wishes into a creative drawing.

VVSG has developed materials in other languages to encourage as many foreign partner municipalities as possible to participate in the campaign.
