Don’t miss the launch of the Italian SDG Portal
Is Milan an inclusive city? Can you ride a bike using bicycle paths in Catania? Could Venice’s environmental sustainability efforts inspire similar action in Tangiers or Dortmund?
These questions and many more can be answered with the Italian Portal of SDG Indicators at Local Level, a new tool created by CEMR’s Italian section, AICCRE, in collaboration with PLAFTORMA, the Eni Enrico Mattei Foundation (FEEM), the Bertelsmann Foundation and the Association of German Cities (DST).
This new tool is the first Italian portal providing state-of-the-art information on urban sustainable development. Data on progress towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are broken down for all of Italy’s provincial capitals.
The tool aims to raise awareness on the SDGs, increase cooperation between local governments and put this data at the service of public.
The Italian SDG Portal is being launched at an online Zoom event this Friday 23 October at 14:00 CET: if you wish to attend, be sure to register online. Interpretation provided in English and French.
This portal has been developed in two countries, Germany and Italy, but there are already plans to replicate this model to Morocco before the end of the year. Will your nation be next?
