As the world enters a critical decade for climate action and sustainable development, local and regional governments (LRGs) are increasingly at the forefront of delivering solutions that respond to the realities of communities. While international agreements set the direction, implementation happens in cities, regions, and territories where climate impacts are felt most directly and where adaptation, mitigation, and resilience measures take shape.

The discussion will identify pathways to scale ambition, accelerate implementation, and ensure that future climate frameworks reflect the essential role of territories in achieving a just, resilient, and climate-neutral future.
