Tuscany Region Webinar | Circular economy & decentralised cooperation

This seminar organised by the Tuscany Region focuses on the relationship between the circular economy and decentralised cooperation and represents an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge on this subject, both in terms of local public policies and in terms of decentralised cooperation initiatives.

Circular economy cannot forget territories and their desire to find adequate solutions to the multiplicity of needs they express.

Circular economy offers territories a different and innovative framework for their development and a privileged field of experimentation, where good practices oriented towards a new model of production and consumption pave the way for a broader and more diffuse process.

In recent years, the dissemination of concepts and tools related to circular economy has also involved low-income countries, which show increasing attention to sustainable development and therefore require development cooperation to «reconsider» their strategies and action methods.

With the paticipation of Frédéric Vallier, Secretary General of CEMR, Serena Spinelli, Regional Councilor of Tuscany, Carla Montesi, Director at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) and Emilio Rabasco, Programme Director at Famsi.
