Rencontres Régionales de l’Éducation à la Citoyenneté Mondiale
Cités Unies France (CUF), with the support of PLATFORMA and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, has published a new guide under the title “L’Éducation à la Citoyenneté et à la Solidarité Internationale (ECSI) au cœur de l’AICT”. The publication explores how Global Citizenship Education can be more systematically integrated into the international action of local and regional governments, drawing on existing practices and providing practical recommendations for elected representatives and practitioners involved in decentralised cooperation.
The guide will be presented during the Rencontres Régionales de l’Éducation à la Citoyenneté Mondiale, taking place on 14 October 2026 in Angers, France, from 10:00 to 19:00. The event will be held in person only and in French, and will bring together local and regional governments, civil society organisations, educators and young people to exchange on Global Citizenship Education and youth engagement. The programme includes a keynote session, practical workshops, networking opportunities and a theatre performance.
