Cities Alliance and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, in partnership with NALAS and the Association of Ukrainian Cities, organise this online event to promote an exchange of experiences and lessons learned between women from local authorities in Ukraine with women from other cities that have experienced war, natural disasters and have navigated challenging post-conflict situations. The event will be an occasion to learn from cities that have implemented gender-sensitive recovery and reconstruction processes, as well as to discuss possible challenges and barriers to women’s participation in decision-making in ongoing recovery efforts, especially in Ukraine.
