Another success for the EDLS 2019!
More than 60 European cities and regions organised 60 events and activities during these 4th European Days of Local Solidarity (EDLS) that took place all over Europe between 15 and 30 November 2019. Albania and Ukraine were the two newcomers in this pan-European initiative.
Cities and regions from Albania, Belgium, France, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Spain and Ukraine were particularly active this year, with more than 60 events on international youth mobility, hosting of refugees, water and sanitation, birth registration… Through conferences, debates, exhances or exhibitions and performances, participants had a chance to learn more about what their city or region is concretely doing to tackle the challenges of global sustainable development.
