8 février 2024

The Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI) has published its second barometer on the perception of Andalusian citizens about municipal public management of global challenges and their relationship with international development cooperation.

The data obtained reveal that every day more and more people are aware that to jointly respond to the current global challenges and challenges of the planet and humanity, we must support actions of cooperation and solidarity between territories.

The survey has three blocks that collect the keys especially in terms of public policies and international cooperation, the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals and the role of local governments in their localisation and implementation in municipalities.

Among the conclusions, it is shown that there is a great need to continue fostering partnerships between different spheres of governments and actors so that the cooperation projects that we work together have a real and positive impact on all realities and contexts, and that our communities are aware of the daily improvement in their lives and in the lives of others.
