The Infopoint session showcased concrete results of development education and awareness raising campaigns on development cooperation ran by local and regional governments (Euskadi) or their associations (VVSG). The opening words of units B1 (DEAR Programme) and C5 (cities and SDGs) of DG DEVCO acknowledged the key role of cities and regions to inform and mobilise citizens, while the Secretariat presented the EDLS 2019 edition and received positive feedback from a full-room of Brussels-based stakeholders including CSOs and European commission officials.
