Policy & projects
From 2010 to 2013, Marlène was Policy Officer for the Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur Region (PACA) in charge of Decentralised Cooperation, Research & Innovation and Structural funds. In 2013, she joined CEMR first as Policy Officer and later as Policy Adviser in Charge of Regional and Urban Policy. In this position, she followed the negotiations on the Urban Agenda for the EU and the link with the Global Urban Agenda and followed the Habitat 3 Quito negotiation for PLATFORMA and CEMR. Marlène holds a Doctorate in Economics; she did her thesis on Urban Development in Latin America and a Master on Development Economy.
Boris is in charge of project coordination, with 15+ years of experience in the fields of local governance, international cooperation and statutory affairs. His background includes political science, international relations, law and sciences studied in Bratislava, London and Strasbourg.
After graduating a Master in “Central & Eastern European politics & societies”, Olivier worked 5 years in European affairs in Brussels, among which 3 for the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR – Statutory affairs). He is now in charge of PLATFORMA internal governance and follows up projects, including Eastern Partnership activities.
Gabino joined PLATFORMA in August 2019, for a period of 9 months thanks to a work placement signed with our Andalusian partner, FAMSI. He graduated with a Master degree in Development Cooperation Affairs at the Universidad de Granada (Spain) after 6 months of fieldwork in Ecuador, working on resilience projects and women’s rights. He has a background in civil society organizations and education for development.
With an experience of eight years in EU bubble press rooms for various media (Le Parisien, EurActiv.com, Les Echos de Pologne, DeHavillandEU), Hervé joined PLATFORMA to put decentralized cooperation in the spotlight. He studied political sciences in Lille & Cracow and journalism in Paris.
Daniela is in charge of the accounting and administrative aspects of the PLATFORMA project.
