NALAS e-learning course on Inclusive Disaster Risk Management
Within the project titled “Enhancing local capacities to implement the 2030 Agenda” and the “Leave No One Behind Principle”, NALAS in coordination with GIZ will organise the 2nd cycle of its e-learning course dedicated to the social approach of Inclusive Disaster Risk Management – IDRM”.
The e-course will take place from 14 March to 11 April 2022 and is subdivided into 4 modules.
- Module 1 – Definitions of disaster risk management and importance of the topic and links to SDGs;
- Module 2 – Needs assessment aspect of disaster risk management (types of assessment as a vital element for planning with a focus on fast needs assessment and vulnerability capacity assessment);
- Module 3 – Process of development and content of a Disaster Risk Management Plan, including Preparation of plan of action for Covid response;
- Module 4 – Communication and coordination in crisis (focusing on models for exchange of information between key actors before, during and following a crisis)
