AFCCRE and NALAS seminar on Eastern Partnership
AFCCRE and NALAS, together with the Moldovan Local Government Association (CALM) and PLATFORMA, are organising a two days seminar in Chisinau, Moldova, on 30-31 March entitled “The new European and international context – Contribution of local authorities to the EU accession process?”
The first day will be devoted to thematic round tables, dedicated to issues of territorial organisation, public finance or management of public services, while the second day will be more oriented towards political dialogue with the countries of the Eastern Partnership and Balkans in the perspective of accession and the role that cooperation between local authorities can play. There, representatives from the Romanian, Ukrainian, Moldovan and Georgian Associations will discuss potential partnerships for local government reforms in the region and EU accession.
