The City of Utrecht and our partner VNG are organising on Wednesday 12 June the conference Shaping our Future in Utrecht (Netherlands), in the run-up to the UN Summit of the Future.

This conference is designed for and with youth, with the aim of coming to a set of recommendations and innovative solutions to increase the influence of youth in intergovernmental processes through local governments. These will be conveyed by Mayor Sharon Dijksma of Utrecht during her meeting with UN Secretary General António Guterres in July in the framework of an Advisory Group on Local and Regional Governments, in the final stages leading up to the UN Summit of the Future in September.

The conference will be held at the Centraal Museum in Utrecht.
