The European Days of Local Solidarity are back in town!

The 9th edition of the European Days of Local Solidarity (EDLS) – the 2-week pan-European campaign to promote international cooperation between cities and regions across the world – has started.

More than 65 activities are already on the map: photo exhibitions, movie screenings, conferences, debates, exchanges, workshops, breakfasts, activities for kids… Municipalities, local leaders, associations will showcase their citizens everything they do to promote global solidarity and sustainable development.

This campaign is organised by PLATFORMA and its partners, in cooperation with the Festival des Solidarités in France.

If you want to participate and help mobilising participants, follow the steps:

STEP 1 | 
Register your EDLS activities online and be part of the pan-European campaign.

STEP 2 | 
Download the EDLS Communication toolkit in your own language, label your activities as EDLS and get promoted on the EDLS website and social media with the hashtag #LocalSolidarityDays.

STEP 3 | 
Ask your mayor or local and regional leaders to read and sign online the EDLS Charter.

STEP 4 | 
Ask your mayor or local and regional leaders to record videos to explain why they have signed the EDLS Charter.
