With the activities of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union slowly coming to an end, the European Year for Development is likewise drawing to a close.

Luxembourg is organising the closing ceremony of the latter, representing the substantial efforts undertaken both at the local, regional, national and European level to further and strengthen development aid policies.

It is important to highlight that this year of coordinated development efforts was rich in opportunities and facilitated significant advances in the field of cooperation and development aid.

On the 9th and 10th of December, numerous events will be held to celebrate the closing of this fruitful year.
