DIBA organised 32 activities in 23 municipalities

For 15 days the Barcelona Provincial Council (DIBA) has organised over 32 activities within the 8th edition of the European Days of Local Solidarity (EDLS), coordinated by PLATFORMA.

During the last two weeks of November 23 municipalities have hosted activities such as conferences, theatre plays, children’s games, exhibitions, all over the province of Barcelona on local solidarity.

Local libraries have also been involved, once again, in preparing workshops for children and exhibitions on climate justice, education for peace, and the rights of children.

Civil society organisations have, on the other hand, engaged in most of the activities, showing citizen’s commitment to solidarity in difficult times.

DIBA has also hosted events on transformative development cooperation with new local elected representatives from the province who began their mandate last July.
