Earthquake: PLATFORMA & CEMR express their solidarity with Italian citizens
24 August 2016
A 6.2 magnitude earthquake in central Italy has made at least 247 victims after striking several towns and villages. The regions of Umbria, Lazio, Marche and the towns of Amatrice, Accumoli and Arquata del Tronto were hit the most.
Local governments are once again on the frontlines of a disaster. PLATFORMA & CEMR express their full solidarity with the affected population, towns, regions and AICCRE, ANCI & the region of Tuscany (Regione Toscana), our three Italian association.
The region of Tuscany has launched a call for blood donations to help the victims of the earthquake. Feel free to share this call.
