8th ARLEM Plenary Session

The 8th ARLEM Plenary Session will be held on 22-23 February 2017 in Malta, during the Maltese Presidency of the European Union.
The ARLEM members will adopt ARLEM’s priorities for 2017 as detailed in the Action Plan as well as the recommendations, during the Plenary Session on 23 February. Furthermore, two draft ARLEM reports will be submitted for approval: on energy and climate change, by rapporteur Mohamed Sadiki, Mayor of Rabat (Morocco) and on cross-border cooperation, by rapporteur Francesco Pigliaru (IT/PES), President of Sardinia Region.
The Nicosia initiative to support the Libyan municipalities and the European Neighbourhood Policy will also be discussed.
The ARLEM Plenary will be held back to back to the European Committee of the Regions Bureau meeting in Malta and a conference on migration on 22 February, co-organized by the European Committee of the Regions and Malta, to which all ARLEM members are invited.
