The ‘Local Authorities Charter for Gender Equality in Africa’, the fruit of 4 years of cooperation between CEMR/PLATFORMA, UCLG Africa and UCLG will officially be launched on 19/05 during the Africities summit. One of CEMR gender equality spokespersons, Emil Broberg, will participate in this momentous occasion along with our very own Secretary General, Fabrizio Rossi.

Africities is a Pan Africa conference that is convened by the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa’s (UCLG-A) and brings together the leadership of cities and sub national governments and their associations for the advancement of decentralization and local governance aimed at improving the living standards of the citizens.
