On the occasion of the 6th edition of the Global Forum for Social and Solidarity Economy (GSEF), held for the first time in Africa, the AIMF Standing Committee on “Economic Transitions / Social Economy and Circular Economy” will meet in Dakar from 3 to 6 May 2023. In the presence of the Mayors of Dakar, Bordeaux, Bamako and Cotonou, this meeting will validate the Commission’s action plan for the coming years.

As both the GSEF and the AIMF Commission are chaired by Bordeaux, these meetings will help strengthen synergies by highlighting the actions of French-speaking cities and giving greater visibility to the Mayors’ advocacy. This is an essential meeting for joint action in favour of a more inclusive and solidarity-based economy.
