The Assises of Decentralised Cooperation for development represents a unique opportunity to bring together local and regional authorities’ representatives from the EU and developing countries to exchange their views and hold a political dialogue with the European institutions on development cooperation.

The third edition of the Assises includes an opening session and five parallel thematic roundtables, on April 9, in the afternoon. The plenary session, will take place on April 10, in the morning and will bring together the “rapporteurs” of each roundtable high ranking officials from the European institutions for an exchange of views.

PLATFORMA co-organises two round tables: roundtable 2 on the post-2015 development framework, with the Catalonia region, and roundtable 5 on the communication Local and regional authorities for development, with the European Commission.
