The AFCCRE decided to set up a working structure devoted to Euro-Mediterranean issues and cooperation. Following the inaugural meeting held in Barcelona on 23 and 24 November at the headquarters of our world organisation, United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), the next meeting will take place on 13 and 14 June in Sète (Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée région).

The purpose of this working group is to provide a forum for exchange and dialogue between the members of AFCCRE and its partners on the state of relations and cooperation conducted by local and regional authorities, on European policy, but also on European tools, particularly financial tools, and initiatives likely to support projects developed by local and regional authorities in this area.
