The next UCLG 2022 World Congress is taking place in Daejeon (South Korea) on 10-14 October 2022. UCLG Presidency but also of the Statutory Bodies (World Council and Executive Bureau) will be renewed there.

The motto of the Congress will be: “Local and Regional Governments Breaking Through as One”. It refers to the choice of humanity, put forward by the Secretary General of the United Nations in the “Our Common Agenda” report: a breakdown or a breakthrough.
