NALAS surveys municipalities in South East Europe in the context of COVID-19

NALAS, the network of associations of local authorities of South East Europe, has launched a survey targeting municipalities in the region. It will serve as basis for the better understanding not only of the impact of the widespread lockdown on the ground in the SEE, but also the type of the response measures taken at local and regional levels in South-East Europe.
More specifically, the survey looks at the impact on governance in the socio-economic sphere and on local self-government finances.
The results will be used for the formulation of analysis and recommendations for policy actions that will support the recovery of the region.
