Register to the Summer course on Local Governance and Localising the SDGs

3 March 2020

The Hague Academy for Local Governance is offering, together with the International cooperation agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG International), a 1-week long summer course on Local Governance and Localising the SDGs.

During this Summercourse (29 June-3 July), participants will discuss how donor and development agencies can support a multilevel governance approach to deal with future development challenges.

Decentralisation is an instrument to achieve development. In this course, participants will learn how decentralisation contributes to inclusive economic growth. The course will take into account the different challenges that governments face in a development context and focus on how donor involvement can encourage this process. How can the SDGs be translated into local policies?

The application deadline is 29 May 2020.
