Get ready for Cités Unies France “Rencontres”
The 2025 edition of the “Rencontres” of local and regional governments international action, organised by Cités Unies France and its partners, will be held on Friday 4 July 2025 in Paris, at the Salons de l’Hôtel des Arts et Métiers.
For 16 years, this unique event has brought together French local authorities and their foreign counterparts, of all sizes, as well as all those involved in the international action of local authorities. It is an ideal opportunity to discuss, debate and share experiences, and to reflect collectively on the future prospects of local governments international action, in the light of the common challenges that bring them together.
Around the theme “Constructing the local authorities’ international action of tomorrow”, conferences, thematic workshops, “Cafés des RAICT” and regional meetings will be held throughout the day to encourage exchanges between local authorities and their partners.
This year’s event also takes on a special symbolic dimension with the celebration of 50 years of Cités Unies France. To mark the occasion, the “Rencontres” will be inviting participants to explore the future prospects for this essential action, at the service of local and regional authorities and their international partners.
Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, and Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, will honour participants with their presence and will enrich the discussions.
These “Rencontres” are organised by CUF with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Development Agency (AFD) and the PLATFORMA project, co-funded by the European Union.
Registration open until 27 June 2025 on CUF website.
