Let’s discover together the jury and the 6 shortlisted projects for the PLATFORMAwards
For the fourth time, the PLATFORMAwards are shining a spotlight on the best practices in city-to-city and region-to-region development cooperation. 6 projects have been shortlisted for the final stage. On 1st April, the jury will announce the names of the 3 finalists during the award ceremony, organised this year in Seville (Spain), at the occasion of the World Forum of Local Economic Development (WFLED).

- Basque Country (Spain) – Municipalities and districts from El Salvador | AKUAL – Inter-institutional cooperation program in water and sanitation between Central America & Euskadi
- Isère (France) – Boundou Community Natural Reserve (Senegal) | Decentralised cooperation between the Isère department and the Boundou Community Natural Reserve
- Le Cheylas (France) – Bandafassi (Senegal) | Development partnership between Bandafassi and a consortium of 7 French municipalities
- Mallorca (Spain) – Department of La Paz (Bolivia) | Les Elegides: promoting women’s participation in local politics in the framework of decentralised cooperation
- Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole (France) – Municipality of Kiffa (Mauritania) | Kiffa eau
- Nantes Métropole (France) – Syndicat des communes de la Ménoua (Cameroon) | Circular Economy and Menoua Health (EcoSaMe)
This year, the jury of the PLATFORMAwards is composed by:

- Hannah-Lea BRAUN, Elected Member of Maichingen Local Council in Germany – Member of PLATFORMA/CEMR Young Elected Officials Committee

- Julien MILQUET, Deputy-Mayor of Anderlecht, Belgium – winners of the PLATFORMAwards 2022
- Ana MIRANDA, Member of the European Parliament – DEVE Committee
- Patrick MOLINOZ, Member of the European Committee of the Regions – Chair of the CIVEX Commission
