Fons Mallorquí organises a training day on the 2030 Agenda to discuss and learn about proposals on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in different sectors.
Under the title “2030 Agenda: from vision to action”, Fons Mallorquí organises a training day for its partners, but also open to entities, the private sector and the general public, which will allow to analyse and know proposals on the 2030 Agenda from different fields.
The programming will be shaped from the experiences of local and regional governments, associations and multilateral organizations, such as UNDP, with the intention of the attendees to reflect on the opportunities offers this new development agenda.
The conferences are framed in the campaign “Committed to the 2030 Agenda” which aims to publicise the 17 SDGs: this is the first time that there has been an agenda that encompasses all the countries of the world and that involves all levels of government.
In addition, the achievement of the SDGs can be measured through indicators and targets, making it a tool for integrating sustainable development policies for local and regional governments. Therefore, thanks to the multidisciplinary vision offered by the Agenda, the day will offer attendees a vision of opportunities for the transversal strengthening of local plans and policies.
The “2030 Agenda: from vision to action” conference will be held on 29 November from 9.00 to 14.00 at the TIRME Hall of Acts, in Palma de Mallorca.
The program and list of speakers will be soon disseminated through Fons Mallorquí
website and
social media.
